Interfaith clinic lauded by American Heart Association

The Interfaith Community Clinic was recognized recently by the American Heart Association for its work helping patients manage their cholesterol and blood pressure. The clinic received Gold Star recognition for two outpatient programs, the “Check. Change. Control. Cholesterol” program and the “Target: BP” program. Both programs were created by the American Heart Association to increase awareness of the medical risks of high blood pressure and cholesterol, and to help patients improve both.
