The Conroe Noon Lions Club First Vice President Warner Phelps, filling in for President Steve Williams, opened the meeting by having everyone get up and meet their fellow Lions. The meeting began with Phelps telling us to honor our veterans while they led us in our opening activities. Veteran Michael Freeman led us in the singing of “God Bless America.” This was followed by Veteran Polo LaCoste leading us in the pledge. Next, Veteran Dan Grimes led us in the Texas Pledge. We were then lead in prayer by Veteran George Renneberg. Veteran Marcey Phillips leading us in the club “Smile” song.
