Just after 3 pm 911 operators took a call from a Lake Conroe resident who reported the home across the street on Torrey Pines Drive. which was occupied but being remodeled was on fire. Montgomery Fire was dispatched. While en route additional equipment was requested as there was a column of smoke visible in the sky. Lake Conroe and Conroe Fire Departments responded. They arrived with heavy fire in the garage and extending to the attic. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal is investigating.
