At about 9:30 am a resident who lives deep in the National Forest heard the kids and was able to locate them. He called 911. Deputy Jason Smith with Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office was able to go into the woods off Forest Road 224 and locate them. It took close to an hour to maneuver the 400-yards back out of the woods. The first thing the kids asked for was a cheeseburger. We will update you with additional details later. Cell phone signals in the forest are almost next to nothing.
