The reflection of the evening’s pink sky glimmered on the rippling water of the lake as 2,021 purple carnations floated about. Representing domestic violence victims and survivors, the blooms were released during Tuesday’s Flowers on the Lake ceremony at the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park in Conroe. The second-annual event was presented by the Montgomery County Women’s Center and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
