Montgomery County health officials confirmed a continued trend of a downward drop in active COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total below 5,000 to start the week. According to the Montgomery County Public Health District, active cases are down 869 to 4,935. However, MCPHD did report three new virus-related deaths Monday, bringing that total to 428.
