On Sunday, September 5, 2021, at about 1:45 PM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of a home invasion in progress in the 20900 block of Kransburg Ridge Drive in Porter, Texas. Arriving Deputies learned the suspects left the home and ran into a wooded area near Northpark Drive. Law Enforcement set up a perimeter and deployed multiple Sheriff’s Office K-9 units and a drone from Splendora Police and also from Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables to help with the foot search. A Houston Police Department helicopter unit also assisted with the search. Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit responded.
