Montgomery County health officials note downward trend in COVID cases

Montgomery County health officials confirmed a downward trend in active COVID-19 cases marking a 1,204 drop from Friday’s numbers. According to the Montgomery County Public Health District the number of active cases has decreased to 8,654. However, the county topped 400 deaths Monday with a new COVID-related death of a Conroe woman in her 70s who was hospitalized. The patient had other health conditions and was not vaccinated.
