A Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable working interdiction on I-69 Wednesday afternoon stopped a vehicle on traffic at East River and I-69. That when his K-9 Partner alerted to narcotics in the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, they recovered 8.6 pounds of marijuana. Vincente Lamonte Williams, 50, of 5001 Aldine Mail Route in Houston was transported to the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of possession of marijuana less than fifty pounds but more thjan five-pounds, a third degree felony, His bond was set at $3000.
