COVID-19 Regional Infusion Center for Monoclonal Antibodies Now Open in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management in partnership with Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC), the Texas Department of State Health Services, St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital, and HCA Conroe Regional Medical Center will be opening a Regional Infusion Center for monoclonal antibody treatment today. The goal of the monoclonal antibody infusion treatments is to prevent ER visits and hospitalizations for qualifying patients with COVID-19. The monoclonal antibody treatment is particularly effective for high-risk COVID-19 positive patients with mild/moderate symptoms who are less than 10 days from the onset of symptoms.
