Census shows Montgomery County has among the highest increase in white, Hispanic or Latino populations statewide

The 2020 census showed that white populations decreased across the United States in the past decade, but Montgomery County was one of the exceptions. Data shows that the county saw a 7.2% increase in people identifying as “white alone,” enough to put it in Texas’ top 10 counties for that category.
