Houston-based Caldwell Communities unveiled plans for the Highlands, a 2,300-acre master-planned community under development in Montgomery County. The community, located just west of FM 1314 along the Grand Parkway in Porter, is planned for 4,000 homes with prices starting just under $300,000. It is midway between Interstate 45 and U.S. 59, about 35 miles northeast of downtown and 17 miles from The Woodlands.
