Bond refunding to save Montgomery County $1.6M in interest

Montgomery County commissioners are moving forward with refunding a series of bonds that will ultimately save the county $1.6 million. Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack along with John Robuck with BOK Financial presented the information to the court Tuesday. Refunding is the process of retiring outstanding bonds at maturity by using the proceeds from a new debt issuance.
