Montgomery ISD Superintendent Heath Morrison toured several campuses on the first day of school Thursday. For the first time since 2019, students across the district begin the school year attending classes on campus after the pandemic forced schools to begin last fall online. Conroe and Willis schools joined other public school districts around Montgomery County that started the fall semester Wednesday, while New Caney ISD returned to school Monday.
