Woodlands charity hand-makes beds for children in need

One area of need for many economically challenged families across Montgomery County and the Houston region is a simple one: a bed for children to sleep in. Called “child bed poverty” by social justice advocates, an estimated 20 percent of minors younger than 18 across the nation are living below the poverty line. A result of that financial hardship is that many children do not have a bed to sleep in.
