A Houston police officer was recovering Monday after being shot at least twice while confronting a man at a Kingwood apartment, according to authorities. The shooting happened around 11 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Northpines Drive after a report of an argument between a man and woman over a parking spot. The wounded officer, shot in the arm and possibly the abdomen, was expected to survive. A 26-year-old suspect was apprehended.
