MONTGOMERY COUNTY – Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a fatality crash on FM 1484, 6 miles southeast of Willis, TX. The preliminary crash investigation indicates on June 30, 2021 at approximately 7:24 p.m., a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 was traveling northeast on FM 1484 when the driver fell asleep and veered into oncoming traffic striking a 2017 Harley Davidson FLS head-on. The driver of the Chevrolet, 27-year-old Joseph Daniel Sharp out of Cleveland, TX, was not injured. The operator of the Harley Davidson, 53-year-old Pamela Jean Dunlap out of Willis, TX, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The rider of the Harley Davidson, a 15-year-old female out of Willis, TX, was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe in critical condition. This is an ongoing investigation.
