Conroe man charged with arson of family’s house after threatening murder

A Conroe man is in jail, charged with burning a family member’s occupied home on Monday night after reportedly threatening murder. Erik Ronald Rod, 41, is facing first-degree felony arson charges. As of Tuesday afternoon, Rod was being held on a $50,000 bond at Conroe’s Montgomery County Jail, according to jail records.
