About 4 am Thursday morning Caney Creek Fire Department along with Porter and East Montgomery County Fire Departments were dispatched to an abandoned house fire on Quail Run Circle off Old Houston and Village Way. They arrived with heavy fire from the roof. The Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office is investigating and would like anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867 or 936-538-8288.
