About half a million dollars in methamphetamine were seized during an evening traffic stop last week by Montgomery County deputies. Jesus Alejandro Acevedo-Vital, 32, of San Antonio, is charged with the felony offense of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Acevedo-Vital is being held on a $300,000 bond at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, according to jail records.
