Tucked behind the MCMGA greenhouses in a naturally wet area lies “The Bog.” Its small lattice archway entry has a short and narrow flagstone pathway edged in brown and green dwarf ferns. Once through this mellow tapestry, though, you are greeted by a real showstopper. Our visitors breathlessly ask to see “The Chinese Orchid Bush.” Our treasure “The Bauhinia’’ has a small bench beside it where we meet and assess the bog and what to do in the garden each week.
