A 40-year-old Houston man has received a 50-year sentence on a crack cocaine possession conviction after jurors heard about his long criminal history. Dewayne Lee Waldrup was sentenced Thursday by a Montgomery County jury in presiding Judge Patty Maginnis’ 435th District Court after finding him guilty of second-degree felony possession of a controlled substance, court records show.
