4 AM -A head-on fatal crash has just cleared on FM 1485 at White Oak in front of the Cowboy Church in Grangerland. DPS is still investigating the cause. Minutes before midnight, a female in her 60’s was southbound on FM 1485 in a Chevrolet pickup. Two Paramedics who had just gotten off work were heading northbound when the head-on crash occurred in the curve. The female who was not wearing a seatbelt was ejected. The paramedics who suffered minor injuries from the airbags immediately started CPR on the female. Caney Creek Fire responded along with MCHD. After working on her for some time it was determined she did not survive. Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Spikes ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center. DPS Troopers were attempting to locate family members to make notification.
