THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED EVERY FEW HOURS THROUGH THE MEMORIAL DAY NO REFUSAL WEEKEND. Even with the rains Friday night and the DWI warnings several drivers decided to ignore the warnings. The Montgomery County District Attorney announced Friday that this will be a NO REFUSAL WEEKEND, meaning if you are stopped for DWI and refuse to provide a blood specimen a warrant will immediately be drawn up and an on-duty judge will sign it. Medical personnel are at the jail to draw the blood as well as the hospitals assisting. Montgomery County has had almost 1200 DWI arrests so far in 2021. Extra officers are out on the street and on the lake through the weekend to help keep the public safe from these impaired drivers.
