CONROE, TX – SJRA has begun 24-hour operating procedures for a rainfall event. #LakeConroe continues to be a few inches above normal conservation pool of 201’. Additional rain is expected through Thursday with 4”-8” average across the basin and isolated storms of more than 10 inches likely. We continue to follow operating procedures to gradually lower the level back to conservation pool of 201’. The Lake Conroe watershed received less than an inch of rainfall basin-wide yesterday.
