The Memorial Day holiday means time on the water for boaters across the state. With the increased use of the lake, there is also the increased possibility of boating incidents and tragedy to strike. The Montgomery County Constable Pct. 1, in partnership with the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), the U.S. Coast Guard, Texas Parks, and Wildlife and the San Jacinto River Authority will be participating in heightened safety awareness and enforcement during this holiday weekend.
