8:10PM-MCHD responded to a possible crash on Ipes Road just east on I-69. Splendora Police arrived on the scene to find a white Dodge Charger in the ditch with the driver next to it. The driver attempted to make a u-turn through the ditch when he got struck. Officers also noticed several bullet holes in the passenger window. The driver told them it had just happened but had no further explanation. No weapon was found in the vehicle. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license so the vehicle was towed. Splendora Police are still investigating.
