The Woodlands Township COVID-19 Update – March 11

The Woodlands Township shared the following COVID-19 Update on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Township Facilities Open, Safety Protocols In Place. The Woodlands Township announces all of its facilities are open while at the same time maintaining safety protocols for its employees and visitors due to COVID-19. Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order GA-34 took effect Wednesday, March 10, 2021 and no longer requires business occupancy limits and a statewide mask mandate unless a county is experiencing “high hospitalizations” as defined in the Order. At this time, The Woodlands Township will continue with face coverings at Township facilities and in participation of Township programs and events, including meetings at Town Hall and programs and services at boat houses, adventure courses and recreational centers. The Township asks that participants abide with safety protocols when visiting a Township facility. Facemasks can be removed while actively engaged in physical exercise/activities where a distance of six feet from other individuals not associated with you can be maintained at all times.
