On the first day of Texas’ reopening at 100 percent, Montgomery County residents seemed to embrace the big step toward normalcy. Following Gov. Greg Abbott’s announcement on March 2, Wednesday was the first day restaurants and businesses could open at 100 percent after suffering through fluctuating capacities for the past year that put a real hurt on the restaurant industry.
