Deputy shot in Montgomery County, manhunt underway for suspect

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputy was shot Thursday near Magnolia. Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching for the suspect near the 22000 block of Allyson Road, which is off 149 just north of FM 1488. They’re asking residents to remain inside and to avoid the area.
