BURN NOTIFICATION: Controlled burn scheduled near southwest Walker County

Officials with the U.S. Forest Service have confirmed that they will be conducting a controlled burn of 737 acres today near the Montgomery/Walker County. The burn will be centered around the intersection of FS 209 and FS 209A, just west of FM 1791. It is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
