ALUMNI NOTEBOOK: Schmid selected top Southland Conference offensive player of the week

It was months in the making, but The Woodlands alum Eric Schmid and the Sam Houston State Bearkats finally hit the gridiron this past Saturday night. The Southland Conference football season was delayed from the fall to February due to COVID-19 and the Bearkats made their debut with a 43-38 win over at Southeastern Louisiana at Bowers Stadium.
