Winter storm power outage spoils $15K in meals for Montgomery County seniors

Meals on Wheels Montgomery County needs food donations for senior citizens after the historic winter storm knocked out power to the Conroe-based nonprofit. Among those who lost power as the temperatures dropped and outages began, Meals on Wheels Montgomery County in Conroe. The organization estimates that it lost about $15,000 in refrigerated items and frozen meals that had already been prepared.
