Volunteers helping rid Woodlands of invasive plant species

There are thousands of unwanted visitors in The Woodlands and a dedicated group of volunteers are doing their best to root out the invaders and send them packing. The unwelcome guests are actually dozens of invasive plant species that have started to take over forest buffers, green spaces and yards while also choking out native species and causing problems for both homeowners and local officials seeking to keep the township as natural as possible.
