CONROE, TX — On Tuesday February 2, 2021 the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announced a new partnership with Multi-County Crime Stoppers and Clear Channel Outdoors called the Cold Case Warm-Up. This new initiative will utilize up to 32 digital billboards in the Greater Houston area operated by Clear Channel Outdoor to highlight cases that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Cold Case Detectives are investigating in hopes of generating leads to help solve these cases. Cases become ‘Cold Cases’ when investigations have reached a point where all avenues for solving the case have been exhausted; however, a specially trained squad of detectives exists within MCTXSheriff whose mission is to continue to investigate these cases and ensure justice is served.
