Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office Investigator Kevin Bates said the fire is under investigation. HE did say there were no smoke detectors and asked residents of Montgomery County who do not have working smoke detectors to contact the local fire station as they are available and no charge and firefighters can even be requested by residents to install them.
