SOCCER ROUNDUP: Willis girls, boys open season with wins

Willis opened its season with a 9-0 win over Harmony School on Tuesday night. The Ladykats (1-0) were led by Lucy Smith’s hat trick. Georgia Paugh and Ashley Miranda scored two goals apiece and Joanna Arreguin scored once. Willis will compete in the Humble ISD Tournament this weekend, beginning Thursday.
