Starting at 9 pm I-45 will be closing at intervals of 20 minutes every 30 minutes as crews stretch power lines across the freeway from the new Entergy power plant, This will be between FM 1097 and FM 830 and will last until 5 am. Additional police are out tonight to prevent what happened last night with impatient drivers making a u-turn on the freeway going head-on at other vehicles to get to the last exit.
