Children learned to protect themselves from human traffickers at a region-wide self-defense event on Saturday, including at The Way Family Dojo in Magnolia. “It’s kind of fun to learn how to kind of do it,” The Woodlands resident Griffin Freeman said as he put his shoes back on. “I learned how to get out of a head hold, neck grab, and I learned a lot of different types of kicks. If you really want to try something new, this would be fun, and you get very involved with it.”
