The Montgomery Independent School District’s Board of Trustees has extended COVID-19 paid leave for the remainder of the school year. “What our district has been able to accomplish this year, under immense and unprecedented challenges, is nothing short of remarkable,” Board President Matt Fuller said in a release from Montgomery ISD. “Extending the time period that staff may use leave time available under the FFCRA was simply the right thing to do. Every member of Team MISD has stepped up for students this year, and as a board, we will continue support them any way we can.”
