A Lake Conroe business looking to expand its footprint has left city officials scratching their heads thanks to the council’s annexation of the property over six years ago. L. P. Carlson, owner of Dockside Marine on Texas 105, along with Ron Saikowski with Quest Engineering, have requested a temporary variance to the city’s fire code since the expansion triggered certain requirements that Carlson and Saikowski said they cannot meet.
