The 30th annual Cookie Walk in the historic district of Montgomery carried on despite the novel coronavirus pandemic on Saturday. “I’m grateful that we were able to have the event,” city of Montgomery Mayor Sara Countryman said. “The turnout has been spectacular; the cookies are unbelievable—there’s some works of art in there. I want to say thank you to the Montgomery Historical Society, the Laughter family that started this, and the National Charity League that is hosting it. They did a beautiful job.”
