At 9:30 pm Christmas Eve Conroe firefighters were dispatched to an apartment fire at the Villas on the Lake apartments at 17578 Highway 105 West. They arrived with smoke and fire visible. Conroe was assisted by Montgomery and North Montgomery County Fire Departments. The cause is under investigation. We will update as soon as additional details are available.
