The Woodland Hills to Host 2nd Annual “Harvest in the Hills” Model Home Tour

Free family-friendly outdoor activities from 10 AM -3 PM including model home tours showcasing new products by the eight quality homebuilders

CONROE, TX – (October 29, 2020) – The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) has announced The Woodlands Hills® will host its second annual Harvest In The Hills model home tour on Saturday, November 14 from 10 AM to 3 PM, beginning at the Activity Center in Founders Park. As one of Houston’s newest master planned communities, The Woodlands Hills is located 13 miles north of The Woodlands® in Conroe and Willis and is developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation.

Guests are invited to visit the 13 fully-decorated model homes, seven of which have been newly built. The lineup of local and national homebuilders in The Woodlands Hills include Century Communities, Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Ravenna Homes and Westin Homes. These quality builders offer one- and two-story single-family homes and patio residences, set on a variety of lot sizes including the low-maintenance 40-, 45- and 50-foot homesites, 65-foot sites and spacious 75-foot homesites. Homes are priced from the $230s to more than $500s. “We are excited to host our second Harvest In The Hills model home tour,” said Heath Melton, Executive Vice President, MPC Residential for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “Last year’s event was a huge success and showcased new model homes along with our new Activity Center in The Woodlands Hills. With social distancing in mind, families are invited to enjoy fun outdoor activities such as photo opportunities at a festive fall patch, caricature drawings, kids’ activities, music, yoga presentations, cooking demonstrations with a prepackaged sample and boxed lunches. A BMW car show will also be highlighted. The Howard Hughes Corporation will follow safety guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention including the requirement of face masks indoors, social distancing of six feet and cleaning services throughout the event. Hand sanitizers will be available for use at each model and at the Activity Center at Founders Park.

When touring all 13 models, guests will be entered in a random drawing for exciting prizes including a pair of Mongoose bicycles with helmets; a two-night “Bed and Breakfast” package for two at The Woodlands Resort; and a “Walk the Row at Hughes Landing®” gift card basket, valued at $250. No purchase is necessary.

With health and wellness, a top priority, the forested community of The Woodlands Hills will eventually feature approximately 112 acres of open space including 20 neighborhood parks. The 17-acre Founders Park and the newly-opened Sue Luce’s Daisy Park and Rick and Roz Dauzat Peace Park are among the amenities in The Woodlands Hills.

Situated in the award-winning Founders Park, the 10,600-square-foot Activity Center includes indoor/outdoor entertainment space, fitness center, event lawn, zero-entry resort-style pool, lazy river, diving tower and dedicated fitness pool.

A pedestrian bridge over the natural stream connects the dog park and tennis courts to the Activity Center, pools, sprayground and the playground. Nature trails connect to the park and are spread throughout the gently rolling terrain of the community.
