At about 10 pm a attempted to stop a motorist after he passed him at a high rate of speed. He attempted to stop him at Kingwood Drive. Before even turning his lights on the driver pulled to the shoulder when he turned on his emergency lights the driver sped up to close to 100 mph. A pursuit started and continued to East River then ended when the driver turned into his home on County Road 3709 and Maple. The driver then tried to run into the house and attempted to slam the door on deputies. As he tried to grab something behind the door he was tazed. The driver said he fled because he had a traffic ticket in Harris County. The driver is also believed to be intoxicated.
