A lifelong Willis resident has taken to her paint brush to help honor those she considers the heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Toria Hill, 55, started the “Hero Series,” a collection of portraits of first responders, in April after her daughter-in-law shared with her the dire situation she and her fellow nurses found themselves in.
