A man was recently jailed after a police K-9 apprehended him when he allegedly broke into a home as he fled a police officer in Shenandoah. Juan Umberto Palacios, 22, of Conroe, is charged with evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony, and criminal trespass of a habitat, a Class A misdemeanor. Palacios is being held at the Montgomery County Jail on a combined $2,000 bond on those charges, according to jail records.
