Czajkoski leads Conroe mayor race in early voting

Conroe Councilman Jody Czajkoski was leading the way after early voting in the race for mayor that drew attention following Mayor Toby Powell’s death in September but whose name remained on the ballot. According to Election Central, Czajkoski had 11,583 votes or 56.34 percent to Powell’s 8,977 or 43.66 percent.
