Joe Alvarez has a message for anyone who doesn’t think COVID-19 is real. “Have them call me and I’ll tell them how real it is,” said the Conroe businessman. After being diagnosed with COVID-19 in July, Alvarez was hospitalized for 32 days, lost 80 pounds and is working every day to gain back the strength he lost due to the virus.
