About 200 runners, and at least one in a turkey suit, had a chance to enjoy an annual family-fun event the weekend before Thanksgiving during the novel coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 Turkey Trot, which is sponsored by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, was held once again at the Carl Barton Jr. Park off Loop 336 on Saturday. The event saw participants of all ages, from both Montgomery County and outside of its boundaries, and even a poodle dog cross the finish line.
